Digital printing

Flexible and unique, even for small print runs

Digital files are prepared for printing on a computer and then printed directly onto the support, without using plates. This means each label can be unique (variable designs are possible), and even small print runs can be produced efficiently, since the cost of creating plates is done away with.

Flexography

Fast, economical and with strong colours for long print runs

This technique uses flexible printing plates – called “clichés”, similar to a stamp – to apply colours successively to the support. CMYK and Pantone colours can be used, meaning the process offers a broad colour palette for labels that really pop. Because of the lower ink costs, high print speed and wider strip, flexography is generally a better idea for large quantities.

Letterpress

Clearer details for a sophisticated result

Letterpress printing is appreciated for its quality, its precision and its durability. This technique is ideal for labels that require clear details, strong colours and that last a long time. Because the process takes longer, it is now less competitive for most labels, but we do still offer it on request.

Prepress: key to perfect layout

Perfect preparation for the very best quality

Before printing, we check digital files thoroughly and optimise them. This preparation ensures the printing technique and materials used are perfectly compatible, thus guaranteeing impeccable quality from the first print run.
